A residential school for teenagers with psychiatric problems is putting on a well-known show with a twist. The twist isn't a plot surprise; Heritage School's production of "Fiddler on the Roof" is unusual because they're not allowed to advertise because of a national Broadway tour of the same production that ended in August. Jewish theater tends to be a bit like Anatevka: a little bit of this, a little bit of that. This fall, though, look for the genuine article, as Sholom Aleichem's village materializes on the Opera House stage. Chaim Topol returns to Boston as Tevye in a Nov. 2-15 run of "Fiddler on the Roof. The full version of this story is only available to online subscribers.
